  • CDL Class A Truck Driver

    Truck Driver Class A

    Job Description

    • Drive commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver the product to retail accounts.
    • Follow an outlined itinerary and be willing to work as a part of a team whose account types and delivery routes can change based on daily need
    • Collect payments from accounts as needed
    • Lift, Stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights to accounts
    • Build strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating products as necessary to ensure freshness.
    • Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets, and cash/checks within appropriate time frames.
    • Manually load and unload product from side loader truck
    • May be assigned to warehouse duties as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 21 years of age
    • Must have valid CDL A license
    • Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 180 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the job
    • Communication skills
    • Basic math skills
    • Possesses organizational and follow-through abilities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • H.S. Diploma
    • Beverage industry experience
    • Knowledge of basic Illinois Liquor Laws
    • Knowledge of territory
    • Knowledge of product portfolio

    Wage and Benefits

    • Schedule: Tuesday-Friday Shift, flexible shift start time
    • Benefits: Health Insurance, sick time, and paid time off after 1 year of service
    • Wage Based on Experience- $20.89- $26.83

  • Trailer/ Special Event (Weekdays/ some Mandatory Weekends)

    Job description:

    Role Scope:

    This position is responsibile for organizing, loading, and delivering equipment and product for special events. This includes safe transportation, delivery, and merchandising of product and equipment, along with the handling of paperwork with a “customer first” attitude. M-F Some weekends WILL be required.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Special Events:
      • Communicate with the Manager, Warehouse Operations or Director Operations on the upcoming week’s events, trailers, and any special instructions for delivery and pickup.
      • Check the trailer board for corresponding trailer, product, and equipment information.
      • Load the trailers and equipment, according to the Special Event Equipment Request Form.
      • Plug in the trailers before leaving the warehouse to ensure they’re in proper working order.
      • Collect checks, trailer inspection sheet and signatures from customers.
      • When trailers are returned, make a list of the following:
      • Returned product and equipment,
      • Any damage to the trailers/equipment, and
      • Note if the customer had any issues.
      • Clean all equipment and make sure it is operating correctly
      • Put that list on Senior Warehouse Manager’s
      • Coordinate repairs to trailers as needed
      • Make sure all draft equipment is in proper working order, cleaned regularly and ready to use when trailers are returned
    • All Other Duties as Assigned

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Basic Handheld Use.
    • Product Knowledge.
    • Inventory Management.
    • Knowledge of Territory.
    • Basic Illinois Liquor Laws.
    • Mathematics.
    • Forklift Certification.
    • OSHA standards.
    • Organizational and Follow-Through Abilities.
    • Ability to Self-Start and Work Independently.
    • Office Equipment (Copier, Fax, and Phone).
    • Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Email, etc.).
    • Lift, Push, and Pull over 180 lbs.
